Hello there!

My name is Kayla Case & I am a product designer living in Stockholm, Sweden. Originally from California, my move to Stockholm 8 years ago was sparked by my annual summer trips to visit my mother’s family in Sweden. Thanks mom for the inspo!

My design background is rooted in graphic design and branding, but after graduating Design Lead at Hyper Island in 2019 my passions are driving me towards product design. A user-centered approach merges my passion for thoughtful design & helping people with my visual design background. I am drawn to design driven by research, design stirred by intent. Having this intent grounded in user needs helps us as designers get to the real root of the problem, finding inspiration to guide us in imagining & designing the most helpful solutions.

I am a firm believer in building strong team dynamics & I really value true collaboration. I strive to build openness within teams where we can share, give feedback, explore, fail a bit testing crazy concepts & have a darn good time doing it.

Random facts about me

I'm an avid desk dancer (I've been caught many times dancing while working at my desk), I am extremely prone to contagious laughter, outdoors > indoors, playing on a football team makes me feel like a kid again, cooking is my excuse for some daily experimentation & I enjoy wine more than I probably should.
